About Us

Your hosts are Martin & Annie.  We moved to Bath from London in 2007, with  two young sons.  We had fallen in love with Ye Grange, a historic village home in Bathampton on the outskirts of Bath and we set about restoring this magnificent space - part 17th Century (possibly earlier), part Georgian, returning it to the commanding village home it must once have been. We hope that William Harbutt, the inventor of plasticine, and Ye Grange's most illlustrious former incumbent, would be pleased with the result! In the process we decided to design the end wing of the house as a self contained Annexe - Wee Grange was born and we've enjoyed welcoming guests from all over the world since 2010.

We derive enormous pleasure from offering this welcoming space as a base to visitors exploring this beautiful part of the country. We are passionate about the surrounding countryside, and enjoy offering recommendations for things to do both in the historic city of Bath, and in the market towns, villages and countryside surrounding it. We love walking, travel, gardening and family, and enjoy meeting people from across the country and the world. We look forward to meeting you!
